Surya College of Education (SCE) is an old institute in the field of D.EI.Ed (BTC) . It is to be affiliated by by SCERT, Lucknow  and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur, a statutory body under Govt. of India.

The institute was establish in 2016 under the aegis of the Surya Pratap Singh Memorial Education  & Charitable  Trust, not for profit which is run by excellent educationist & financially strong social person, having its own open and wide campus an area of more than 5000 sq. meter of land surrounded by pollution free atmosphere. The institute is situated at Hapur-Bulandshahr  national highway-(N.H.-334) . The campus is well connected by road and the campus location is beautiful and calm.

Now teachers work with students who are actively planning and managing their own futures. Teachers prepare students for a range of career pathways and help them develop the skills, habits and attitudes they will retain over a lifetime of learning. It is a more challenging role for teachers now that the expectations are more complex.

And this is where our role starts. We prepare tomorrow’s teachers today. Emphasis is given to the development of domain knowledge and teaching skills. They take foundational, pedagogical and experiential coursework to enable them to meet the students with linguistic, cultural, learning and behavioral diversity.

It is an established fact that the quality of education is influenced by the quality of teachers, their commitment and motivation for the teaching profession, their understanding about children’s learning, social expectations, classrooms practices and pedagogical alternatives. Therefore, training of teachers becomes an important component in improving the quality of education.
