Surya College of Education (SCE) is a new institute in the field of D.EI.Ed or BTC . It is to be affiliated by by SCERT , Lucknow  and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Jaipur, a statutory body under Govt. of India.

The institute was establish in 2012 under the aegis of the Surya Pratap Singh Memorial Education  & Charitable  Trust, a not for profit society run by excellent educationist & financially strong social person, having its own open and wide campus an area of around 5000 sq. meter of land surrounded by pollution free atmosphere. The institute is situated at Delhi-Meerut highway at four milestone from Modinagar, a leading industrial city in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The campus is well connected by road and the campus location is beautiful and calm.

It is an established fact that the quality of education is influenced by the quality of teachers, their commitment and motivation for the teaching profession, their understanding about children's learning, social expectations, classrooms practices and pedagogical alternatives. Therefore, training of teachers becomes an important component in improving the quality of education.
